An Active Harmonic Filter (AHF) is an advanced power electronic device used to improve power quality in electrical systems by eliminating harmonics, correcting power factor, and balancing load currents in real time.
The AHF continuously monitors the load current, detects harmonic distortion, and injects compensating current of equal magnitude but opposite phase to cancel out the harmonics caused by non-linear loads such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), UPS systems, computers, and LED lighting.
Key Features:Real-time harmonic detection and compensation (up to the 50th harmonic)
Power factor correction and load balancing
Modular and compact design for ease of installation
LCD / HMI interface with monitoring and control functions
Communication options: Modbus RTU / TCP, RS-485, Ethernet
Automatic protection against over-voltage, over-current, and thermal overload
